Tech Research: AI-assisted reading and digest workflow

A personal repository documenting an AI-assisted technology-reading workflow focused on AI cognition and the technology–humanities intersection. It combines a subscription configuration, agent-assisted source scanning and a weekly digest scaffold, while leaving substantive reading annotations to its owner.

Workflow level n/a Source: Repository-documented Outcome: Not empirically evaluated here

Research applicability

A transferable example for organizing exploratory reading around AI cognition and human–AI interaction. Adapting it for academic horizon scanning is an editorial suggestion: the source documents a personal technology-intelligence workflow, not a systematic literature review or representative academic corpus.

Getting started

Editorial, untested suggestion: inspect the documented configuration and generator, then adapt a small source set to a defined research question and preview the local digest scaffold. Fill annotations only after reading sources, and add an explicit scholarly search method if seeking an academic review rather than exploratory monitoring.

Maintenance

Dated documentation snapshot only; continued maintenance and availability not independently established.

License

README does not establish a reuse license in reviewed text; verify repository and upstream content permissions before redistributing code, annotations or source content.

Workflow & human oversight

No fixed workflow level. Agents assist discovery and scaffolding; the owner reads and supplies substantive notes. Any academic adaptation requires researchers to select sources, check claims and separate weak signals from evidence.

Workflow level is not an evidence score; higher is not better evidence.

Approach

The README describes limited agent retrieval attempts, a cross-source radar rule that promotes items to candidates, and a generated digest with reading priorities and note placeholders. It explicitly distinguishes automated scaffolding from the owner’s completed annotations.

Limitations

README-only review; scheduler activity, source configuration, generator code, digests and linked research notes were not verified. Sources include blogs, newsletters and social signals, not a controlled scholarly search. The two-source trigger is a discovery heuristic, not independent confirmation. No synthesis quality, coverage, research result or productivity outcome was evaluated. AI retrieval does not fill the owner’s substantive interpretation automatically.

Reproducibility

Exact retrieved bodies, source URLs, UTC retrieval timestamps and SHA-256 envelopes saved. No upstream code or claimed outcomes reproduced. HEAD was mutable; no commit version pinned.

Adoption requirements

The documented local scaffold uses Python and a subscription YAML configuration; the agent retrieval schedule depends on the owner’s QoderWork environment and is not supplied as a verified portable service. Check source terms, copyright, privacy and model-provider exposure; retain source attribution and researcher review.
